The RazoRock Mudder Focker Italian Shaving Soap has been controversial since its launch, with some people taking offense to its name and refusing to purchase it. The name was chosen for two reasons: firstly, the soap contains thermal mud, specifically Fuller's Earth, which is sourced from an ancient thermal sulfur spring in Italy where many Italians visit for health and relaxation; and secondly, the creator's initial reaction after using the soap for the first time.

While the creator acknowledges that his sense of humor may not resonate with everyone, he has sold thousands of these soaps, and many clients have begged him never to discontinue production. The post-shave feel of the Mudder Focker is said to be second to none, and some even claim that a Mudder Focker shave doesn't even require an aftershave.

One of the key features of the Mudder Focker is that it is a tallow-based soap, which means that the tallow fat, when handled by a skilled soap-making artisan, creates a beautiful, cushiony lather that offers excellent protection from the razor blade. The soap is a soft, Italian-style soap that is intended to be used with a traditional shaving brush.

To use the soap, the user should swirl a damp shaving brush on top of the soap for 30-40 seconds, allowing the brush to become sufficiently loaded. The lather can then be finished in a shaving mug, bowl, or directly on the face, which is the creator's preferred method. The soap is a bit thirsty, so the user may need to add more water to the lather if it starts to lack slickness.

After use, it is important to let the soap fully dry, which means leaving it uncovered for at least 24 hours. If the soap is covered while still wet, it can be ruined. If the user uses the soap 3-4 times a week or more, there is no need to replace the cover once it has been first opened.

The Mudder Focker has a unique scent profile, with top notes of bergamot, anise, and pineapple, heart notes of jasmine and violet, and base notes of amber, musk, sandalwood, vanilla, hay, tonka bean, patchouli, and thuya.

The soap is available in a 150 ml / 5 fl. oz. size and is made in Italy by a skilled artisan. Its ingredients include aqua (water/eau), stearic acid, Cocos Nucifera (coconut) oil, tallow acid, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, parfum (fragrance), Solum Fullonum (Fuller's Earth), benzyl salicylate, coumarin, limonene, linalool, hydroxyisohexyl-3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde (HMPCC), and α-Isomethylionone.
